Opinions please,
1. When the prop attachment bolts use
castellated nuts. (no puns now!! d;^) ) What is the preferred safety
method. Cotters keys or safety wire?
2. The prop hub that went over the tapered shaft in
my 75hp ,has a .015 wobble on the face plate causing quite a bit of vibration of
the aircraft. Checked the prop track and it was out at the tip about 3/16 plus.
Any ideas where a guy could find a good used one? Could not find one in Univair
cat. and the cost would probably be astronomical if they did have one. Thanks
