Coupers, I have a McCauley CM 7150, IB 90 prop mounted on a C-90 with 100+ hours
since major overhaul. 2400 to 2450 Rpm seems to be the max I can get out of this setup.
This is all mounted on a 1967 A2-A. When people refer to fuel consumption as being so many
gallons per hour at 75% power , what do they mean?

If I take 75% of 2400, I get about 1800 RPM. If I flew at 1800 rpm my fuel consumption
would be about 4 gph or less.  However, this would not do the engine any favors, I'm sure.

So, my question is what do they mean, 75% power???
