Randy,

I've flown in to Johnson Creek before, but not in a Coupe. I was in a
145 hp Cessna 172 and was in and out before 0700. There is no way I'd
try it in a Coupe. The density altitude can get you into trouble real
fast. Also if you don't know where you are going you can turn up a
boxed canyon. A good one to ask would be Lori who owns the Moutain
Canyon Flying school in McCaul, ID. Please don't try this unless you
know what you are doing and then make sure the Coupe can handle it.
There have been many many fatalities at Johnson Creek. Just make sure
you know what you are doing.

Tim

I am thinking about taking my coupe (415-C with a C-85) up to Johnson
Creek
Idaho but wanted to check with another couper that had flown in and out
to
insure it is relatively safe.
I used to fly off a short grass strip regularly with no problems.
Thanks, Randy
