Hey Larry: I am sorry to hear about the crack in the tank. The tank is
quite difficult to remove. The service manual says it is possible to remove the
tank by removing the control shafts, moving all controls out of the way, and
working the tank out the back, after draining of course. I did one several
years ago, and I do not remember how I did it.
