Larry, I had a crack in the header tank and had to remove it to repair. I
had to remove the transponder, both control columns, some wiring, throttle cable
and anything that would interfere with the removal. Loosen and remove the aft
tank bracket if it's the 6 gal. tank. pull tank back and roll it out to the
right side. Oh yes, don't forget the tank pluming.Good luck, Dick L. 3041H

The tank is quite difficult to remove. The service manual says it is possible to remove the tank by removing the control shafts, moving all controls out of the way, and working the tank out the back, after draining of course. I did one several years ago, and I do not remember how I did it.Good Luck. Let us know how it goes.Lynn Nelsen============================================================================== To leave this forum go to: http://ercoupers.com/lists.htm
