Hi Gang;
Plunked money down on a project today real close to the house and the price was right.  Not exactly what I want, but it'll make a fine Ercoupe when completed.  Serial number low (600's), so the gear is on the wrong side of the spar and it's been changed to a D Model. ;-(  O-200 STC but no engine and prop, has rudder pedals which I'll remove if I can under the O-200 STC.  Some other great features is that it has radios, Clevelands, rags and the fuse generally looks pretty good.  The owner flew it for a couple of years, then took it down for some refurbs while getting his A&P at the local community college.  It's pretty well in pieces but nicely cataloged but without pictures.  If anyone has pictures of the workings of their coupe while intact, I'd appreciate copies.  If you're going in for annual, I'd appreciate pictures of anything, especially of the controls and their workings.  Digital is always the best, naturally.  This project is a hull with everything else in boxes and I haven't the slightest idea where they go, Univair's parts catalog are lacking detail.  (I was able to put the whole nose back on my Bonanza using just the parts illustrations!)  Since it already has the O-200 STC, I'll stick with it, they're easier to find than good C-85's and the parts and props are plentiful.  John, I'll call eventually you for an extended panel.

One question I'll ask from the experienced.  The bottom piece of sheetmetal under the center section was removed.  I have the old one and need to replace it.  It appears that it can be replaced with sheet stock, but it also appears to have a slight bend in it.  If it has a compound curve it may need to be ordered, but before I do that, I would like to try to make one myself.  So to the guys who have done a center section, please advise.

Al
