Ask around if other pilots have the same trouble. We have an
area here in the Seattle-Tacoma area that does the same thing due to overloading
the front end of the radios.
Next the suggestion of disconnecting the ELT has merit. There
was a brand of ELT that caused interference due to intermodulation distortion
when overloaded.
