Hi! Yes, absolutely. This type of problem is not relegated to
receivers only. Modulation circuits are affected just as often but
since you don't hear it in the cockpit, you won't know unless some
tower op tells you. Plus, most of the time pilots tend to blame it on
the tower's receiver and many times they are right!
