Performance to date has been outstanding. The engine always starts instantly upon touching the start button. I have approx. 150 hrs SMOH without any starter problems. I recall that the weight savings were significant, possibly 6 lbs. You'd better verify that figure. John Cooper at Skyport, and the Spruce calogue have details. Don

Any suggestions where to start. I pulled it the brushes look fine. It has been dragging for about a year. It finally is time to replace it before I get stuck where I don’t want to be.
