Scott, A Sensenich 73 inch long 46 pitch may be a good climb prop on a C-85. My McCauley 7146 was an extreme climb prop, right at the edge of the allowed static rpm and I could always climb to 12,500' even though it still took quite a while to get up there. But I didn't need to fear the 1800' grass runways that abound in the Central States since I was generally off the ground by 1,000'. Note that getting over 50'-75' trees requires more distance.
