John, I've done some flying from packed-snow runways in my Coupe. I had no problems at all. In fact, the crabbed landing touchdowns go better on snow. Do take the same care in general as you would with other planes, i.e. snow holding you back on the takeoff run, piled snow on the runway sides that can catch wing tips, etc. Perhaps the Coupe could have a bit of advantage on loose snow, the low wings let you get off the ground into ground-effect a bit extra early so you can get to flying/climbing speed in the no-drag ground effect. But, we also have fewer horses in the nose than many other planes so the benefit might be a wash.
