I agree.  As a former Cardinal owner I would recommend their "digest" and web sites as an example of the better mousetrap.  They have a moderator who receives all of the postings (ala our Tech Forum) and combines them into a daily digest, e-mailed to all member who subscribe.  The moderator is a knowledgeable owner who, with assistance from a couple of experts, tries to ensure that all tips etc are clear and accurate.  The downside to this is, of course, there is an annual fee.

I am amazed that this group is so well informed and willing to share ideas and tips, not to say peripherally related topics like videos of x-wind landings.  But as John infers, there are a lot of "old wives tales" that may result in bad things happening.  So maybe a "Wiki" like page isn't such a good idea.

I do love this group, and I've learned a lot about my Ercoupe.  I can't wait to show it off at Sun-n-Fun.
