Folks
Well its spring time and Ercoupe fly-ins are in full bloom though out our
great nation, except of course in the north east where these things just dont
seem to happen. So Ive decided that maybe we should try one in this neck of
the woods. Im a little nervous as I have not done one of these things before,
but Im going to give it a try. My Cabin is in a fly in community on a 4000
foot grass strip in NH (NH69).We have plenty of coupe parking on the south end
of the runway. We are just south of the White Mountains and the views there
from in a coupe are just spectacular. The date will be July 7th. I would prefer
it to be a one day event, but if you are flying/Driving in from a long distance
we can arrange something at one of the local motels. Lunch can be burgers and
hot dogs at my hanger or we can go to a local restaurant. Please let me know if
you are interested and your thoughts so that I can get an idea of how many
coupers might show up. Also if anybody wants to
help out, please send me an email off list. I know this is the tech list, but
this is the one that everyone subscribes too and I needed to get the word
out......
