Very do-able but not economically feasible. In addition to the covering material labor and paint, you will need to reinstall the leading edge sheet metal, not for the faint of heart or experience. The leading edge on the metalized wings are different from the rag wings. To pay someone for this could cost in excess of $5K, depending on where you live. If you're considering a project such as this it may be a better alternative to see if anyone wants to swap a set. There are plenty of people who do not know the benefits of having rag wings. When it's recovering time for someone it may be an ideal opportunity to go forward with this.

Is there some damage to the structure (rivit holes or such) that prevents it? I'm thinking of taking on a project in the spring and was just wondering. Thanks, Linda and Gilda (reassembling from painting)
