Randy, I have a Continental "C" Series manual. In the spec section it
has Propeller Load-Fuel Consumption curves. Engine only. What it
shows is a doubling of fuel consumption from 2300 RPM to 2600 RPM for
an A75 engine. I'll post the page when I find the top of my scanner.

When idle, or at lower rpms, your times counted at the tach differ
from what is actually flown.

I may get 7 gph. I'm using tach time, is that right?

altitudes I burn 4 1/2 to 5 GPH at 2400. When I first got my plane
back from the engine overhaul, I flew it for a while at 2200 or so
since that was the normal speed for the C75 and it "felt" right. Then
I got 4 or less. Of course, I was moving pretty slowly, too!

It will be used most for cross country flying. The engine is an 0 time
C85-12 with an 0-200 STC.I looked it up in A-718 and it made no
mention ofthe 0-200 STC. I am a new cooper with 0 time in acoupe and
need your help.Al FloraN94748Hayward, WI
