Randy, I have a Continental "C" Series manual. In the spec section it has Propeller Load-Fuel Consumption curves. Engine only. What it shows is a doubling of fuel consumption from 2300 RPM to 2600 RPM for an A75 engine. I'll post the page when I find the top of my scanner. Mike @ C35

When I first got my plane back from the engine overhaul, I flew it for a while at 2200 or so since that was the normal speed for the C75 and it "felt" right. Then I got 4 or less. Of course, I was moving pretty slowly, too! > > > > Larry Snyder > N99340 > > > On Jan 30, 2008, at 5:35 AM, Albert Flora wrote: > > > Larry, > > What is your fuel burn at 5500MSL or there about @ 2400 RPM > with the 71-50 prop? > > Al Flora > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Larry Snyder > To: ercoupe-tech > Sent: Wednesday, January 30, 2008 4:56 AM > Subject: Re: [ercoupe-tech] Propeller > > > > > Albert, > > I have the same engine and have a 71-50 prop. It will be used most for cross country flying. The engine is an 0 time C85-12 with an 0-200 STC.I looked it up in A-718 and it made no mention ofthe 0-200 STC. I am a new cooper with 0 time in acoupe and need your help.Al FloraN94748Hayward, WI > > > > > > > > > > > _________________________________________________________________ > Shed those extra pounds with MSN and The Biggest Loser! > http://biggestloser.msn.com/ >
