Bob, You may be referring to the ADI manufactured by TruTrack...
http://www.trutrakflightsystems.com/instruments.htm They will supply the unit with a black and white face if you request it. They do not advertise it as an option. Jim the owner of the company makes up the retro version by hand. I have two of these ADI in my planes and like them...
