Al, It might be worth a call to Continental to verify. I had new rings and a cylinder hone recently. My A&P put in straight 30 weight mineral oil. It gives the cylinders and rings a chance to wear in. It's been snowing ever since it came out of the shop so I have not flown to check oil consumption, etc. Mike @ C35
