Your mechanic should have already downloaded a copy of the continental engine 
break in procedure and it should specify the oil they would like you to use.  
On it, someone test flying the a/c will also fill in the check offs.  Also, if 
your mechanic can't answer that oil question for you,  oh well!

As an aside, you can call the fellow who holds the STC for the O-200 Crank Mod 
and ask him for a suggestion.  FYI, there is a boutique engine shop in Tulsa 
that recently built up a big bore Continental for my Bonanza that recommends 
Phillips Multi.  This is not your average hacker, the engines from this shop 
start at $25K and go to $70K.  He says no need for the mineral oils, but that 
may only apply to big bores and he may own stock in Phillips Petroleum.  Most 
people up there do!

The advice is worth what you just paid for it.
