Like ED is already suggesting, I'd look for a 415-E or G model. Or a Forney.
Some of them do have rudder pedals which really come in handy in flight 
training.

The later style Ercoupes are better in the way that they do not have the 
elevator restrictions that the 415-D models and the 415-C models with the gross 
weight STC are suffering from. 

Also the higher gross weight of the later models allow for a pilot and 
instructor AND fuel.

The 415-E or G Models and even the Forneys suffered in value since they do not 
count as LSA planes. You can get them for a steal these days.
 
I noticed that the Alons are still priced high, but if luck has it you can find 
a reasonable priced one too, because they are also not LSA planes.
