"Hartmut is a young fellow"

Age is always a matter of the perspective folks. I am the oldest in our
software company.

However. I argue that a hobbes is not a bit different than a wrist watch, just
not as accurate to read.
You still have to write down the numbers when you started the plane.

If you want an accurate time on the engine without having to keep a written
record, a hobbs meter is the way to go. It only works when the engine is
running and the hours are there whenever you want to see them. Hartmut has a
good system, but it requires keeping a written record. Hartmut is a young
fellow, I would forget where I laid the paper and have to start over again.

Guys - I have been looking for a flight timer as my Coupe does not have a
Hobbs meter - nor does it need one. However, I want to use a timer to check
fuel burn. Right now I use the tach time but recognize that it is not accurate
unless certain RPM's are maintained.

I have tried the usual sources including A/C Spruce, etc but can't find
anything that meets my needs. Any ideas? I wan something that I can use to
time the hours and minutes from engine start to shut down.
