Syd,

I am certainly not offended by opinions that differ from mine.

There are the dangers of breathing the fumes. But I also found it
interesting that even the empty bottle is dangerous and that at
certain tempatures it will just explode. How hot does it get inside
the cabin of an Ercoupe parked on the ramp? I certainly don't know if
it is a big problem, but it doesn't fit the profile of a risk that I
am willing to take.

I might be more willing to carry and use the non-certified product
that does the same thing as the Alco product. I think the risk of
using a non-certified product that is routinely used in non-certified
aircraft in my certified Ercoupe might be somewhat smaller than the
risk to my health and safety with the other.

These are all personal decisions that we all must make.

Thanks, Syd.
