Hartmut: It seems this is the reason why the German authorities require passing at least a second class medical for anyone that dares to fly. For those older than fifty, that medical has to be passed every 12 month! Now that solves a non-existing problem. Look we don't have any medical issue related accidents thanks to the over regulation.
