I use a "Battery Tender" and have been doing so for about twenty years on
different 12/14 volt aircraft systems. It's not like the gizmo because I
don't
fly around dragging the "Battery Tender"
The Feds told me its fine. For that matter lots of aircraft have an external
plug in system of some sort usually marked for 12 or 24 volt. If you couldn't
start your plane haven't you ever had a boost
from a car to your plane I have more then once. I don't think the system I
have can be used for a boost. What if I had a weak battery and needed a boost
in
my Coupe. Now that's something I'm going to look into. On previous aircraft I
used external booster cables. What's the story on the coupe getting a boost?
