Never used TCP.
I have been running 8 Iridium plugs in the Ercoupe's O-200 for the last 1,000 +
hours, lean aggressively on the ground & in the air (single cylinder EGT/CHT
gage), avoid operation at full rich except on take-off & climb at lower
altitudes, and use no or minimal primer.
Other factors are that much of my flying is cross country trips, and my plane
is based in warm SoCal. Seems to work OK so far; 1500+ hours and counting with
good compression & no stuck values.

Subject: [ercoupe-tech] TCP
do most pilots use TCP added to there 100 LL to prevent lead
build up on
the valves, and just how many hours before this show up with out
using
TCP ? .now this is all theoretical use no-one would use anything
that's
not approved and has a common since use. pure speculation
