Percy, The change of the carb venturi is only a small part of the legal
conversion of a C-75 to the C-85 in an Ercoupe. The change to the Engine Must
be co-ordinated with Continental Motors, approval obtained, and a new data
plate installed. The last one I did cost $100.00 for this plate plus the cost
of the venturi. This varies with type of carb you have. NOW for the
biggie--- depending on your Ercoupe, the conversion to an 85 requires that
the elevator have a moveable trim tab with a larger tab installed. If you have
the older flat slab elevator w/o the trim tab you'll have to find one with the
correct tab. If your coupe has the moveable tab (and the right size) then only
the engine change with the paperwork is required
