I want to install a 12V cigarette lighter in my 415C panel to be used as a power source for my Garmin GPS.
Must this be done by a mechanic or can I legally do it ?. Just need to hook the power wire to a power supply and the other to a good ground. Pros and cons please. Jim N3439H 415C FDK
