Bob, I weighted 2 Coupes myself with digital scales - both were more than 920lbs total.These Coupe sport metallized wings but are not painted. Both have minimal instrumentation - no gyros- and are cleaned in and out. I would be surprised to find a Coupe that is significally under 900 lbs empty. To reach for the 800lb empty weight one would have get rid of the spin-on-oilfilter, radios and all gyo instruments, get a lightweight battery and a baggage compartment from canvas. Also mount a wooden Sensenich propeller on front. Hartmut

I can see a slight difference, but 64 Lbs.....? What are some empty weights out there so I can compare......
