I finally got the transponder to work ( replaced with a used one), the
ICOM A-200 radio is now perfect ( bad coax) and was enjoying a great
day of flying in Md before the snow hit. When I closed the pilots side
window before putting the canopy on I noticed the bottom 6 inches of
the glass was still in the bottom of the track. So now I have a 6 inch
opening when the window is closed between the bottom of the frame and
the glass in the frame. Any thoughts as to what caused it ( I try to
sit towards the center of aircraft when opening and closing the window)
and the best way to retrieve the broken glass. Will have to order a new
side window. Also trim seems to be binding and I do not have " free"
movement.
