It sounds promising if only we had found actual gold dust and maybe some nuggets. Again I heard the deflating sound of my wallet. The good news is that a failing magneto was discovered while fixing my alternator/voltage regualtor/battery/radio problem. Noone likes to find these kind of problems at 1,000 feet AGL on the crosswind leg.
So I am looking for the most ecomonical and sensible approach to rebuilding or replacing the mags (assuming that the other mag needs help). Any words of wisdom? Thanks. Frank Nelson N51DV - 415C TOA
