I may be wrong, and I usually am, but I do not recall any Alon seat structure with sliders. Alon seats are fiberglass structures with a metal bracket that has a series of hole in which a front spar mounted bracket with pins engages, and the whole structure settles back in a special rear spar trough. It has been a long time for me, but I don't think the center sections on the Ercoupe and Alons are exactly the same. Hi all. I have a set of bucket seats from an Alon with sliders. I wish to have them installed in my 415G by a competent knowledgeable individual. I am located in the Tetebrboro, NJ area. Is there any person who would like to do this installation for me? I would be willing to pay all bills for transportation, lodging, parts and labor. I just want to get the job done properly from someone who knows about coupes. There should be no problem in getting the 337 from the Feds. Presently there is no one in this area who knows about coupes or wants to do it. Some of you may ask, "Why do it" my answer is simple, "Because I want it, O.K."
