My power point is in the same place as yours; however, because I am tall and
big I've bumped it with my left leg which caused the plug to my GPS unit to
disconnect from the power source. And that happened more than once, so I've
had to figure a way to position my leg that keeps me from hitting the dang
thing. I have Cessna 150 seats in my Ercoupe (there when I got it) and because
I had to pull the seat forward to keep my head from bouncing off the the
overhead, my legs have been a little more snugged up than I would like. It's
not as bad when there's no one in the passenger seat since I can put my right
leg on that side of the cabin and use my left for the brake.
