Glen and all,

There is really no reason that Gary or anyone can't install the Airtex interior him/herself. When I received my box from Airtex, I opened it, looked over the parts enclosed, and said to myself, "Well, this ought to take about 4 hours to install." I started and was done in less than two hours! Usually when I make a time estimate, it actually comes out about twice or three times as long as whatever I estimated. This is the only job I ever did that took half as long as my estimate.

As Syd stated, the Airtex interior look goods. They are also made of FAA approved materials. If you have a mechanic do all the work the total will cost you about the same as if you go to a custom interior shop and have a custom job done. I have had two custom jobs done in Ercoupes and the price came to around $3000. The only advantage to a custom shop over Airtex is "customization". While the Airtex interiors look good, they all look kind of the same (except for color). if you want something different, like custom stitching, puckered fabric, pleating, mixed fabric and leather, etc, you only can get that from a custom shop, as far as I know.

Hi gang, as you all know by now, N94029 has undergone a major front to back going over. Now, I am thinking about redoing the interior. I live in Menomonie, Wi. Are there any shops around my area that does interior restoration? Any help you have would be appreciated. Thanks for reading this note.

Gary,
I recommend that you purchase an Airtex interior. It is very easy to
install and looks great, in my opinion. That's what I have in my Coupe.

Guys and Gals.

I will be visiting San Francisco beginning next month and I wonder if someone can help me out with a ride over the Sierras.

I'd like to visit Mr. Tarver in Fallon , NV.

I thought this is a good excuse to fly rather than spending a day in a car.

Maybe I can convince some one living in the area to fly me up there or even better, someone would let me fly. I take over the costs.

If anybody can spare some time or airplane, please let me know off list.

Hartmut Beil,

Berlin Germany.
