Our bottom left front on pilots side always gives me trouble. Strange how that works. Must be Dzus gremlins.

I can always tell when my A&P has been into my plane, because when he has re-fastened the Dzus, the corner one always gives me trouble! When I open & close the cowl myself, they don't get stuck. FWIW, the opening sequence that works on my plane (pilot side) is to start with the 2nd from right, on the bottom row. Then the right hand one, then move toward the left. In closing it, I also have to start with the 2nd from the right, or the rest get hopeless! Then the right hand one. When 3 bottom ones are done, only then do I start closing the vertical row, starting with the top first. If the bottom left corner isn't the very last one, it doesn't behave.
