Hi Dennis:
I installed the Univair Trim Tab kit (purchased from SkyPort) in my 415-C and found that I had to remove the horizontal stabilizer to install the rear wire housing. However, I found the same problem you are having with the trim wire binding. I think what is happening is that the end of the wire is catching on the end of the B nut. What I did was to 'sharpen' the end of the trim wire to a point and then was able to run it completely though without a problem. We installed a new 3/16" tubing down the fuselage and a new trim tab wire. The trim tab wire is binding between the "B" nut at the forward end of the horizontal stabilizer and the trim tab. We have isolated the binding problem to this area. Can anyone tell us how to replace the wire housing between the "B" nut and the trim tab? I appeciate any help you can provice. Thanks, Dennis
