What strikes me is that no one is questioning the fact that GA airports are
seen as something dangerous, as something where access need to be restricted.

What problem are we solving here? Are there repeated signs of abuse of
airports? Are people in masses flocking out to come together on airports to do
something dangerous?

Which repeated cases of activities against the common good need to be stopped
here?

The argument to make things potentially safer does not cut it for me.

If that's the case , let's close all bridges in the country to avoid accidents
on bridges. Sure you'll get that number to zero.

Or close all highways. Fence them in. You never know, someone might walk there
someday with a bomb.

I can not understand the panicking society. Where will this all end?

I used to live in a country where everything was pretty much fenced in. Ports
and airports only accessible with special permission. You know what? People did
not like that kind of world and revolted against the rulers. The people
succeeded.

OMG - Maybe the Fed's need to do the same with TRUCKS, BUSES, YACHTS, and
TRAINS.
That way we'll all be "safe" (broke and hungry too).

Sorry, IMHO that idea strikes me as ridiculous.
