Sorry I was going by the photo which I thought was of the left stack.
I should have made clear the left stack shroud is cabin heat and
muffler shroud is for carb heat.

The cabin heat hose comes from the small muff on the left side of
the engine. If the hose from the muffler is not installed you do
not have carb heat available. Fix it immediately!
