Homebuilts do have their own set of rules.? They are very restrictive during the flight test phase which typically lasts around 40 hours.? After that, provided the aircraft and pilot meet appropriate requirements, I am unaware of selective exclusion from certain areas.? If anyone knows otherwise, kindly correct me with appropriate chapter and verse.
Cheers, Bill Jim said: Don't homebuilts fall under 'experimental' rules, so they can never be flown in certain areas? The regs also say something about geographic limits. Is that usually the whole U.S. or something smaller?
