The original spinner was junk - in my humble opinion.  The back plate was 
subject to cracking and breaking. Why the skull cap is even an issue has not 
been discussed. It isn't because lots of coupe owners decided throw away a good 
spinner and then buy a skull cap. It's because they got stuck buying a new nose 
bowl and spinner. I suspect that all a person has to do is to carry a photo of 
his last broken back plate and cut up nose bowl. Mike
