Dan, That is most likely the only turnbuckle in the cable. It goes under the floor and around a pulley wheel and up to the master cylinder. The diagram is in the parts book and actually doesn't show any turnbuckle (Oh NO, something on the airplane that is not in the parts book!!!) but all I have seen have a turnbuckle. I guess it is possible that the cable has slipped off the wheel or the cable has stretched. If you have the long turnbuckle barrel you may be able to replace it with a short barrel. Other than that, one section of the cable will need replacing.
