> How would it behoove us to join EOC before we are EO (Ercoupe Owners)?
I'll answer that. An acquaintance I thought was a friend knew I liked Ercoupes and tried to sell me one for what he told me was a reasonable price. Problem was, the airplane needed a lot of work and he had paid a lot less than he said. As I started to have more questions about the deal, I decided to join the EOC for two reasons. First, I needed technical advice about whether or not I should buy this airplane, and second, because if the deal fell through, I wanted a lead on another 'coupe. Being a member in good standing opened up a flood of information from other members and what my deal fell through I was able to find several good airplanes through other EOC members; and I finally bought N3041H from another member in Washington. "Membership has its advantages", as the saying goes. Dave
