The rub comes in if the plane has EVER been operated at the 1400 gross weight limit as a "D" model it is forever ineligible as an LSA aircraft.
A thorough check of the records is in order before any money changes hands. The factory original C/D model planes are as rare as hen's teeth. :-) Cheers: Paul N1431A 2AZ1
