Prof Ed,

Any inquiry like this is most quickly handled through the FAA aircraft
registration database. When I want it, I just Google "faa aircraft
registration" and that gets me there.

It lets you look up by N-number, serial number of other ways.

The search by N-number yields this info:

Deregistered Aircraft 1 of 1 Aircraft Description Serial Number 311 Type
Registration Individual Manufacturer Name ERCOUPE Certificate Issue Date
None Model 415-C Mode S Code 50140427 Year Manufacturer 1946 Cancel Date
05/21/1973 Reason for Cancellation Exported Export To CANADA

  _____

Aircraft Registration prior to Deregistration Name KEATING ROBERT A Street
PO BOX 333

City

BOERNE

State

TEXAS

Zip Code

78006

County KENDALL Country UNITED STATES

  _____

Deregistered Airworthiness Engine Manufacturer None Classification Unknown
Engine Model None Category None A/W Date None

  _____

Deregistered Other Owner Names

None

Good luck with Canada. I'd suggest staring with a similar Google search.

Ed

Hi everyone,
I'm looking for the current N Number for serial number 311.
A lot work was accomplished in 1965 by C. M. Herman at
Skyport Airport, Mechanicsburg, Pa.
Much of the work had 337s.
With the Registration number I can get FAA 337 records of this work
which would help me considerably.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all,
Ed
