Kostas, John, et.al...

All your numbers sound pretty close to me, too-- at least within the margin of
error. I have a 7148 prop and typically see around 2500 RPM indicated or so
and cruise at about 108 MPH at 2000' MSL wide-open. My normal cruise setting is
2350 RPM, which gets me 103-105 MPH. My ASI is pretty accurate since I repaired
the static leak. Hartmut and I are finding that it is often not the ASI that is
inaccurate, but more likely a static leak if you are reading high or a pitot
leak if you are reading low. The best way to determine whether or not you have
a gross error is to do some stalls and note the airspeed at which it "breaks".
It should be close to the charted numbers, somewhere between the low 50's and
mid 40's depending on your model and in-flight weight. Check the lines where
they connect at the back of the instrument first if you determine there's an
error.

Hope that helps-- happy 'couping!

Dave
