For the mechanical driven fuel injection system, you'll need an engine case that allows mounting it on the bottom and also the cam that drives the system.
I recently saw a complete system like that offered on Ebay. The name was O-cell-o or so. But I heard that these system were hard to troubleshoot, failure prone and now hard to repair due to the lack of parts. And the performance and fuel consumption was supposedly not better compared to a carbureted engine. One could think of a common rail fuel injection. These need a redundant power source and that opens another can of worms. Nothing wrong with the Stromberg/Marvel carburetors. Does someone have a STC to do so? What do you guys (gals) think of replacing our old carb with a fuel-injection system? There is one available out on ebay and it states it's even for a c-85 (though that doesn't make it necessarily so). I would just like to get your thoughts on this or even if it's possible.
