I read ones a report that two guys managed to get an Ercoupe into a flat spin.

They spun down to a field and decided to jump off the plane when it is close to 
the ground.

To do that they stepped onto the walkways. That disturbed the airflow around 
the plane enough that it started flying again. 

So the story.

If I would remember where I read that.

Now Hartmut, you just GOT to expand on that. If you cannot get it into a flat 
spin, how would someone know it is or is not recoverable? Inquiring minds want 
to know.
