I'm not suggesting that Ercoupes can or should be fitted with airframe recovery 
parachutes.   I'm just not that savvy about the plane, even though I owned one, 
to offer a considered opinion.  I was more commenting about the Cirrus's 
situation and its need for some type of recovery system.
