The aeromatic was a problematic prop. That is why you do not see them very 
often.

 

As I recall there are some pretty ferocious ADs on them

They predated small aluminum props and as soon as the aluminum props became 
widely available the aeromatics were replaced. Same story as fixed pitch wood 
props.

New aeromatic parts including blades are still available but be prepared to 
mortgage the house and kids.
