Thanks for the good write-up of the wing recover issue you had.
For me, weight is an important issue leading me to prefer fabric covered
wings.
However, this reason, the requirement to take the cover off and TOTALLY
inspect and refurbish the wings every 20-30 years is an overpowering reason
I prefer fabric covered wings. This just doesn't happen with metal skinned
wings on any aircraft.
