Hi Mac, Concerning your messy oil problem, I think the words of Hartmut, Bart ,Ed and Eliacim are spot on. I might add that even though I have the large oil access door, I still open the side cowl to check oil level. When the engine is hot, I lift the stick just high enough to wipe off the oil on the upper part, drop it back down and then bring back up to check level.
Ed: On the reply deal, I think that occasionally having to copy and paste is a small inconvenience. I do however appreciate your continued efforts to try to keep us happy. Cheers, Bill
