Hi Bart,

Mr. Steve Stevens, recently installed into the Virginia Aviation Hall Of Fame,
has a hangar near the approach end of 28,
KPVG Hampton Roads Executive Airport
Norfolk, Virginia, USA

He has been at this airport for 40 years, everyone knows him.

He is an expert on Stromburg carbs and as mentioned, everything Continental.

Two years ago, I had my C-85 overhauled, Stromburg sent out for rebuild, I have
used the primer only a few times and I fly around 170 hours a year.

HAPPY FLYING!
Jack

I agree that most of the Stromburg carbs could use an overhaul. Short of
that,
I find that if you press your tongue into you left cheek during engine start,
it fires right off. Might be superstition.
Hey! Over 100 Continental engines stacked up three walls????!!! !!!! More
info please.
Bart
